A warm welcome awaits regular and new visitors to our beautiful course and clubhouse with views over the Pennines, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales.

Founded in 1926 as a 9-hole course, it was extended to 18 holes in 1998. Improvements and refinements since then have given us a course that we are justifiably proud of, further changes are planned for the future that will continue the improvement over the coming years.

Our course whilst not long has a good mix of long and short holes and provides as fine a test of golf as any in the area to both high and low handicap golfers.

Carol Dodd and Janice Howarth (CJ Catering) provide our catering requirements: their catering is superb with a wide range of meals available from snacks to 3 - 4 course meals. The standard packages are set out below but other options are available and can be arranged at short notice if required.

Our club has a P.G.A. Professional, Colin Maroney who has a reputation as an excellent teacher and is available for lessons before you go out to play, his shop stocks many golfing items that are available for purchase. Items not stocked can be ordered and obtained at very short notice at a very good price to you.
